Fluss Haus: "FLOOS HAH-OOS” translates from German into River House, and was founded on the idea that home goes with us wherever we travel.
Founder Diana Densmore, is a multi-racial writer-director whose background as an outsider in the rural Midwest makes her a champion for the misfit and the misunderstood. She believes that films can create a sense of belonging and the feeling of home, wherever we watch them.
As a Writer and Producer, her short films have screened across the globe form Beijing to the Cannes Short Film Corner. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan and and MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. She has been a Writers Room 50/50 - Level 4 Press adaptation fellow, a writers room intern with Season 7 of “Criminal Minds,” and a recipient of a Panavision film making grant.
When not making films, Diana writes poetry and is a studio artist with a gallery space at The Box Factory Center for the Arts, she serves on the Exhibition Committee at the South Haven Center for the Arts, is Co-Leader of Girl Scout Troop 56011, and is the proud mother of a glitter-covered, science-loving eight-year-old.
